Jodie Jones began creating low-sugar chocolate treats in her kitchen to satisfy her sweet tooth in a healthier way as part of her fight against cancer. Jojo’s delicious recipe allowed her, and everyone she’s shared her chocolate with, to satisfy their daily craving for sweets with zero guilt. Upon growing popularity and demand for this incredible, guilt-free chocolate, Empatico got involved to update the brand and packaging, positioning the brand for expansion—to be shared with a lot more chocolate-loving people.

Curb Your Craving

Eating clean doesn’t mean depriving yourself of everything you enjoy. For Jojo, chocolate was love. Part indulgence, part education, we needed the Jojo’s brand identity and packaging to showcase that we aren’t just selling another chocolate bar; we’re making life a little sweeter with every bite. Premium dark chocolate, high-quality protein, and less sugar means you can curb that craving without the guilt.

The Sweet Spot

Dark chocolate, nuts, and dried fruits are the building blocks of Jojo’s barks and bars, and we wanted the packaging to show that there’s nothing to hide here. The product photography and windows on the packages showcase the wholesome ingredients, while the typefaces and illustrations reflect the love and compassion Jojo put into her treats. The ingredients and how they’re presented can solve the problem of helping customers kick their craving for sweets with healthy snacks that taste like treats.
